I am a research engineer at the French Centre National de Recherche Scientifique in the field of Petrology and Mineralogy. I am an expert of the X-ray spectrometry technics applied to the chemical analysis of rock-forming minerals with an electron microprobe. My main contribution was focused on the development of protocol for trace element analysis as well as for iron speciation in minerals and glasses. I am a past-consultant for the French Cameca company, pioneer and world leader in X-ray microanalysis where I was in charge of developing specific softwares for geosciences applications.
